Hi all i need some advice please as i need to replace the tyres on my caravan. But what size do i get as the ones on the van are 155/13 & i can get 165/13 for less than 155/13 (brand new 8 ply) or do i stick to the size already on the caravan???

Need the asap as we go away in 4 weeks encounting

Plus it's the first time i've towed it any distance apart from when i brought it home 10 o'clock at night in the dark!!! So if anyone is heading to devon on the 15th of august i'd steer clear lol.

P.S I am used to towing as i used to have a f/c & i have a trailer

are you sure your speedo is not wrong by doing this?

The speedo reading should not be far out if you keep the rolling radius of the tyre the same ie 165 80 13 you'd need to use 185 65 14 (i think) to keep the rolling radius the same.

& a quick update i'm having 165 13 tyres on the caravan as the guy advised me they take an extra 100kg in weight  so many thanks for the replies
