Hi all, i think i've seen this topic before but cant find it, we're away tomorrow and want to run the fridge from the car and am b******d if i can remember the correct switch settings, i was up today and had a wee footer with it but the most i could get was an intermittent clicking from both the fridge and fuse box, the power led on the fridge came on and off with the clicking. i had the main switch set to van, and the fridge switched on, also had the other switch for the fridge on too, this resulted in the clicking with fridge power light on then off, on then off.

tried with the swith to car , the clicking stopped but the fridge power light would not come on, anyone any idea what the correct setting is?

Cheers all.

Bryan

Bryan

My Eccles Topaz was always left with the switch in the van setting and the fridge set to 12volt operation and that seemed to work OK in terms of the fridge. What I also found was that the powerlight on the fridge only worked once you had been running at normal road speeds for a while. So when you stopped at a service station and left the engine running you could see the light but not by just starting the car.
