Do any of you use the showers in the caravans ?

If so are they any good ?

My wife uses them all the time, I use site showers if on a site that has them. Using the van shower is a learnig experience, if you leave the shower running all the time you very quickly run out of hot water so we use the shower to wet ourselves with, turn it off wash and then use the shower again to rinse off. It works very well.

I think you just need to get used to showering in a different manner than at home.  At home I never switch the water off while I'm washing but in the van I do.  You get used to using less water, faster showering and it works fine.  I do find the bathroom gets very warm and I open the window before I get into the shower!

Yes we always use ours and never use the site facilities. Extremely good flow and the best one we have had in any van so far.

Can't see the point of lugging a shower cubicle round if you don't use it. Also good for putting the water containers in when travelling.

We always use ours because we mainly stay on CLs/CSs, usually without showers or loos.

We swapped our caravan specifically to get one with a shower. We refuse to use dirty, hairy site showers and MUCH prefer the comfort of ours. It's plenty big enough for me and I'm 5'11 and not a skinny minni either. OK, the power is not as good as at home but it is perfectly sufficient!

Not sure what people mean about 'running out of hot water'... In my van, the water runs hot all the time - I've never managed to use it all even on electric instead of gas so I assumed it was some kind of heater that heats water as it passes through?? As I misled here? There are two of us and we manage to have a nice shower each without turning the water off with no problems.

Yes, we use the CC and CCC sites that do not have shower blocks (they are lovely sites and generally quieter).

Van shower is really good, hot and powerful! We open the roof light in shower compartment to get rid of the steam!

We have 2 aquarolls and always make sure both are full, and waste master is empty before showering!

Usually one of us showers then I check the aquaroll, swap if necessary and wait a few minutes for the water heater to do its thing!

One aquaroll is generally enough for 2 showers as we don't spend too long in it!

Like most people, its get wet, turn shower off, soap shampoo etc, turn on for rinse and job done!
