I have just received the manual for my van and it says "The Optimum pressure range for tyres of caravans loaded up to acceptable total weight is 0.18 0.1 MPa" (This is regarding the Freedom Jetstream caravans) am I correct in thinking this is 40.6 in PSI and if not quite loaded to the maximum weight, could I put a bit less in my van tyres. Sorry about questions but am going away next week for the first time and need to get it all right.
yes i make it around 41 to 42 these new measurements are a pain in the bum i would leave the tyre pressure at the reccomended as if you do neeed to just pop in any thing more then you will be overweight so imo it is best left as it is recommended

I still can't really understand MPa pressures because when I put it into a conversion chart it will convert 0.18 as around 26 PSI then I put 0.1 in at that says 14 PSI so I am thinking I could have them anywhere between the two 26 PSI to 41 PSI according to how much I load my van. Who invented all these new car tyre pressures. I only understand PSI maybe I am getting to old. Nothing seems to be precise in what one should do.
