hi all, just away in my caravan now {Padstow Touring Park} in cornwall, As we are sat here my wife and son have decided that we must have one of these flags on the big flexible flag poles that seem to be popping up all over, Some with flags on and some with all sorts of other items dangling from them.
any way just wondered if anyone knows where these can be purchased from as I dont recall seeing these in any shops so it may be a website.
we have 3 flags that we fly but only when we go to american car shows...i think every caravan and tent flys a number of flags looks really good but on an every day site i wouldnt....just my preference
We've flown flags while camping at music festivals - very useful! However, remember that on a quiet campsite a large flag or windsock flapping in a stiff wind can be surprisingly noisy, so it's best to be able to easily take the flag down at night, just to keep the neighbours onside.

We usually fly flags especially at rallies - we have a county flag and an England flag. We also have a wind sock. It makes it easier for the children to identify our caravan in a field full of similar vans!
We also fly them on ordinary sites sometimes and we used to do so when tent camping and the noise never bothered us. The only times we have removed the flags at night is either in very high winds or during a thunderstorm!!
We fly the Yorkshire Flag and are proud to do so. It makes a great talking point and that way you get to meet lots of different people . People who probably wouldn't bother to pass the time of day with you.
