Had a twin axle about 8 years ago and sold it on as one of our rels had a lovely static in the Lakes we could use. We then bought an Outwell XL tent a few years later and found we were taking everything but the kitchen sink and sold that after a year (got fed up of noisy neighbours). Are now thinking of taking it all up again and buying another van although not as large as the Lunar Delta we had - looking at an ABI Dalesman. SHOULD WE DO IT?????
Definately!! Whats stopping you, you snooze you lose!! Ol Iam totally addicted had various vans but only really got obsessed in the last 5 years. I am selling up one day to full time it!!

I've sold up everything twice now in the last 4 years and have now started again there is nothing like the freedom that you can get with a tourer. Spent a week in a static earlier this year and hated it. Never saw a soul and it was hopeless for people watching and it cost a small fortune.
There's no fool like an old fool and hopefully we have learned our lesson.
Id say go for it only if you're really sure. You can lose thousands if you keep selling up as you probably know.Imo you have to love caravanning 200 per cent to warrant the cost of buying the van and all the accessories to go
with it.If then you lose heart again and decide its not for you, you've got to sell up all over again.Id have a good old think about it before you commit yourself.

yes, we are always the ones to buy something then think we are fed up and sell it then buy something simular- i think its a case of the grass is always greener on the other side
we were thinking of getting rid of caravan to get trailer tent, then i remembered the agro of wet canvus and lots of poles and thought again
caravans seem to hold a lot of their value so you havn't much to lose we had a static for a while and lost an absolute fortune as did lots of other people we know, at least with a caravan if you don't like a site you can move
Well we have! Just been and put a deposit on a lovely van, met a most wonderful person selling, ended up being the father of a work colleague (I didnt know before we arrived), absolutely spotless, extremely well maintained ABI Dalesman, little dtr well excited - here goes again!
My advice is, don't sell up yet. Buy a cheap an and use for 2 or 3 years to see if you like caravanning. If yes, trade in for a better model and sell up then. If you do not like caravanning, flog the cheap van and you have not lost much and still got somewhere to rest the weary head.
