Saw a Toyota Landcruiser towing a van today and it had a blade type and a Winterhoff stabilizer both in use.  Its the first time I have seen this, do any of you use two and if so does it make a major difference?

bit belt and braces , I just use a blade type but Alan who owns the storage  where we keep our van tows using blade and hitch types, in his case a Bulldog and Alco .
He has towed all over the continent so works for him.
I did read somewhere on here that Alco don't recomend this practise and to be honest if you load the van and tow vehicle correctly and take care with checking nose weights and tyres , tow sensibly should not be a need for 2 devices.
