I've been looking to get a Ranger 550 / 540 this winter, and have been keeping my eye on prices...
My local dealer has two 2007 550 models at £9995 each, and on eBay most private ones that sell seem to be about £8400... but I've noticed loads have not reached their reserve (normally get upto about £7800).
2006 models with the wooden effect bathroom sell for about £7500 on eBay.
I can't wait to get ours... only one more camp under canvas left.
Hope this all makes sense.
Mark.

there isnt really other than
avoid starting price to high
avoid reserve price
and never take paypall as payment (there gonna be collecting so get the cash off them or you may find yourself trying to proove theyve actually collected imagne no caravan and no paypall payment.
i always look at the classified adds aswell there a fixed price and people make an arrangement to veiw and then (like buying a car) they try to make a lower offer you tend to end up selling for a couple of hundred less
ebay auctions work that you pay to list the item pay to add pics pay to jazz it up and then when its sold! you pay a final value fee.
