We have a Pageant S7 with the rear triple bunks.
The top bunk has a fixed rail, the middle one has a removable rail similar to the side dinette bunks and the bottom bunk is on the floor so no need for a rail. On our model the ladder is fixed so that works a restraint to the middle and lower bunks too.
I have never seen any bunks for awnings though, our bedroom pod takes a double bed (just) rather than a bunk.
I ma not sure about having a 2nd awning on the other side of the van as it will make the van too wide for the fire separation rule and I am sure the club sites (and the commercial sites I have been to recently) will not allow it.
We have slept 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) over Easter in our six birth van with an awning with bedroom pod. With that many bodies I would invest in a full size awning with an extra pod rather than fitting an internal bedroom annexe.
