Can you get a caravan keey cut anywhere or do you need a specialist, our caravan has the circle style key

Hi, your key should have a number on it ?, we needed one for our wheel clamp (same style)rang them and were told they are a stock item so I would guess its the same with van keys. I know you canbuy our van keys ready cut, same again just quote the number. hope it helps. atb Bill

yes they sell the keys by number but you can get them cut aswell

I have today had a caravan door key and Al-ko hitch lock key cut local 'heel bar' type shop.

if you go to your local locksmith, rather than the large franchises, 1. in general they are cheaper, and 2 they will more than likly be able to cut your key.

I got spares for my van from a local dealer he had a board full of them, all the keys are numbered.Pretty scary really when you think of it.

It would cost a fortune to go and buy a full set though, not to mention the time it would take for a theif to try up to a thousand keys in the door. Probably quicker for the theives to force the lock. Car keys used to be the same, as are household mortice locks.

you can get them by number at the dealers for a cost of £1.50.i had two cut at a market for £5.will have a number like WD 000 ECT.
