Sunday Morning Idea.
Could you have removable but lockable tube and socket sunk into the drive and set in concrete, with a tow ball welded to it. that way the caravan would just come off of the car and onto the drive hitch, I recon that with a good hitch lock it would be pretty secure too, with a bit of thought it could be hight adjustable for any van.

Right, I've already mentioned the "hitch post" in my post near the top of this thread. These are readily available by many manufacturers. Examples:
I went for just a security post which was less than £30. Fitted it myself and I'm happy with it:
But then I don't have a slope to worry about!

By the way, you don't need to worry about adjustable height for a hitch post - They're all around the same sort of height and there's not such a difference to matter!
And use a proper wheel chock:
They are curved so the wheel fits against them which is far better for the tyre than the corner edge of a block of wood!
