ok, where did swift hide the gas switch for the fire ? I cannot get the fire to work for love nor money !
I have changed the batteries for the ignitor and the fan system is working but only cold because the fan system runs off electric but needs gas for heat. Its the last thing we need to work out in our new van and the manual is as much use as a jam sandwich :)
Any help appreciated.
Many thanks
Cliff

You could try asking Swift directly on the Swift forum on Caravan Talk.

Ask Gary at Arc Systems, he`s the one who knows all ther is to know about these things, He also can supply any spares that might be needed. He will probably see your posting and answer, don`t know what we would do without him on here.

we have a swift but to be honest we have never used the gas fire - we plug in an electric heater, I think well why use gas I am paying for when I can use the electric included in my pitch x

still no joy, missed swift customer service by 5 min tonight, i want to make sure its working for oct, then we can close the bedrooms off and have the blow air heating in both bedrooms instead of 2 fan heaters, one dealer said today it may be the ignition unit at fault, easy to replace but about 60 quid, i will ring swift tomorrow because surely the gas should come through even if the ignitor is not working.
Thanks for the replies anyway gang.
