this is the first opportunity we`ve had to have a play with our 06 bailey senator.first job was to suss the water system out, onboard tank and all that.must say, extremely disappointed with the amount of noise/vibration when the pumps running under the front seat.should it sound like some sort of machine gun all be it quite muffled ?? and for all the hassle to get to the tank / pump,having to remove all the cushions and try and support the flimsy bed slats up while fiddling with the control valves,its a job i dont want to be doing too regularly.

so all you people with a similar set up , how noisy is yours because im really surprised at the noise from ours.

the system appears to be primed ok as theres no air coming from the taps it just appears that the pump vibrates through the floor.thinking of unscrewing pump and putting rubber under it although for a caravan that when new retailed at £17k approx im amazed Bailey didnt think of it ???

The inboard pumps are much more noisy than the ones directly into the water container. However I suppose we should expect that as the van structure insulates us against the outside pump. We have not long had our first van with an inboard pump which does make quite a noise but I can't say that it causes us a problem because you know when its likely to make the noise, its not all the time.

we can clearly hear ours

We thought ours was noisy at first but got used to it, thats how they all seem to be, there have been a lot of posts about it some claiming to cure it.
