hi we have the round older style status aerial and so does our friend but when we use them the pic flickers as if trying to find a reception all the time, we have tried the booster switches but no difference, ive also spoken to a few people who have them and they say they are crap too. lol. so are we all doing something wrong or are they rubbish, please let me know your views on them,

we now use a cheap aerial from asda and it works brill,

but would love to know if weve missed something!!

we dont even bother with ours, we use an external aerial running through the booster.

Unfortunately although they are very convenient they only work in a strong signal area. Also they won't pick up vertically polarised signals from relay stations, even though they claim to.

We use it if it works, if not we try a Maxview on the side of the van and if that doesn't work out comes the satellite.

they look nice and provide a convenient place to snag a caravan cover lol

i did get a great picture with mine once, there was a transmitter in the next field though
