Hi, we have tented, trailer tented and now folding campered. Thinking it time for a van. We are wanting more weekends and am feeling the convenience of a van for one or two nighters is just beating my fantastic camper and the wet canvas worry.

So which one- deffo dont want fixed bed, think would like end bunks to leave up so can just throw kids in them when tired. I love cupboards and space along with work top. Do not do TV on hols. Shower cubicle not necessary but one of them mixed in with toilet woud be useful for emergency use.

Have seen reasonable new ACE with a fixed bunk that lifts to put bikes in for travel, apparently some end bunks have a door to do the same.

Tow car BMW 1.8i Tourer 2002.

Budget sort of below £6000 and any lincolnshire dealers with wide range to look at for ideas please.

Any hints, advice, things to think about, all welcomed.

We're jumping straight from tent to caravan! My head is completely mashed with trying to work it all out (quite apart from the fact that I never imagined that I would ever 'want' a caravan!).

Hope you find something suitable soon. Like the idea of the bike storage - didn't know that was an option!

I am hoping someone can elabourate on the idea for me. x x  good luck to you too. I cant decide weather to buy an older one and change in couple of years or just save and jump in with a newer one to last ages
