Anyone who has a fixed bed can you tell me where the best place to get the bedding from and a matress protector please.

You don't need special bedding which is a waste of money imo. An ordinary fitted sheet fits just fine and with a mattress protector you will just need to fold the corner under and tuck it in.

Just an ordinary double fitted sheet and it wont slip off bearing in mind you are less a corner.

We have just got a very stretchy fitted sheet and it fits fine - never slips off or anything! We actually cover the mattress with a sheet and then use a double sleeping bag as hubbie can't nick the covers then which he does with a duvet!!
