We have only had the bloomin thing back less than a week after it was in for repair (to mend the damp and mend the leaks!) - its coming in so bad at the front window we have a bucket on the chest of drawers - if anything it seems worse than it was before!!! Aaaaarrrgh! I have had tents that have leaked less than this ruddy thing.
Hubby rang the repair place and talked to Gorgeous George (lovely bloke! - he did say we needed a downpour to really test it out and boy, have we had one today) - we are to take it back down and they will rectify it (and get a free weekend at their site for the inconvenience) - wont be today cos its torrential out there.
Its probably not that bad - they had to take out all the front windows to get at the damp and we are hoping its just an adjustment but they are on the ball and will get it fixed.
Trouble is we are on a bit of a deadline for it coming back - my eldest dd has to go up to Aberdeen for a scan (she has cancer) and as its at least a 5 hour journey we were going to take the van up and have a couple of days either side of the scan to give her a wee holiday - thats not for another fortnight yet so Gorgeous George and "the lads" as he refers to his trusty band of workmen had better get their finger out and get it sorted.
I wouldn't care but I spent hours yesterday shampooing the carpets and cleaning the upholstery (the previous owners had dogs) and it smells bootiful.
Bum.
