Well we tried the Fiesta this week in Cornwall. The weather has turned quite stormy today and while taking the awning down it was taken by a gust of wind. The centre guy has been torn out, the front pole bent and all three roof poles sheered at the clips where they join the front pole. The awning is in the back of the car at the moment and we are sitting here in the van waiting for the wind to die down before we can access the damage. There are at least 3 series of dents in the van where I could'nt hold the awning down in the wind. The awning is actually very good and this weather is extreme to say the least.I will repair any damage to the awning and see if I can get another set of poles from either the retailer or directly from Kampa.

No I would certainly buy the awning I think its great its just a shame we did'nt get it down in time last weekend before the wind caused havoc. I expected a replacement pole set to be expensive but possibly not that expensive. I now have to consider if its worth buying standard roof poles and trying to reshape the front main poles.
