Well guys we are back , the freedom microlite went great behind the c3 at 54 mpg doing 55 to 60 mph even overtook slower trafic at 60mph in cruse control.

not a move out of place ref freedom towing without stabilizer.

The freedom needs more work on it than we thought, but mostly cleening, and a few items need fixing.

But still happy, as Gilliam my wife is happy to lol.  And if we can do this with the help of a friend asap then we will go away in it soon lol

The roof lineing is in a bad condion, so we took it down, and the foam under it was like powder in parts so scraped it off, a friend gave me a hand, any ideas what to put in it's place.

I thought of puting the polistireing that comes in a roll, then carpet squeres on to that.

Carpet squares are way too heavy to put on a roof. They wouldmake the van top heavy.

Look at some form of fabric. Mine has a white-ish felt type material that is about a quarter of an inch thick and it is stuck on with Spray Adhesive.

You could always back that with foil (the kitchen stuff) again held in place with the spray glue.
