Well I'm pleased to say that our first trip in our caravan was a great success and we've returned with our marriage still intact - just!! We went to a lovely site called Auchenlarie, South West Scotland which was only about 40 mins drive - perfect for our first loaded journey. Everyone was so friendly and our motor mover gained some attention - what a great toy!! Really can't wait to get away again, we've definitely got the bug!
Glad to see your still speaking i know we weren't after our first trip. Also nice to see you enjoyed yourself and hope you have many more enjoyable trips.

So pleased to hear that you are still married lol. The motor mover does get a lot of attention doesn't it. We were watched when we moved our caravan into place using the mover.
Caravanning is just brilliant. Where and when are you off again?
Thanks for all your replies, it feels good to be part of the caravaning community!! The only thing we found was that as we were away for just one night we didn't bother with the full awning, but could probably have done with a porch awning, does anyone have any recommendations? Reasonable priced but good quality?! The money pot is running dry with buying the caravan!!
We are about to buy a Kampa fiesta porch awning, heard all good things about them, just waiting for pay day! I like the look of the lean to ones, but they don't seem to get much praise.
