I don't know the answer to your question, but please consider that the insurance must meet your needs, and that might not mean the 'cheapest' is what you are looking for.   Speaking as one who has had his van stolen earlier this year - the caravan club insurance were very good and everything was sorted, but I think they are not the cheapest.

Quite a few companys will not insure German vans.

Insured our Burstner through the Caravan Club, not the cheapest but only require hitchlock or Wheelclamp not both! I might add we still use both!

Not that old chestnut!! I just did my insurance, phoned about 5 different companies and not one had any issue with my German caravan...that may have been an issue years ago but it doesn't seem to be any more, so please, enough...

BTW, the AA gave me the cheapest quote and the only downside was that they only covered for 30 days in Europe, which is more than we will need.
