HI Dave
We have got a 'front only' cover for our caravan. Ours is kept indoors in a former cow shed, but the front does get grime and bird poop on it and we like to keep the daylight off the front of it, without pulling the blinds etc, (The cow-shed is open-ended, so does let a bit of sunshine in).
Ours was from Cover Systems and was made exactly to measure. It goes from the A-frame right up over the front of the roof, just stopping at the Heki rooflight. It wasn't cheap, but we are delighted with it and now that we have got the hang of it, we can put it on in just a few minutes. You can supposedly tow with it on, but I'm not really sure how well it would cope with that.
Ours seems a higher quality fabric than some others I have seen. Cover Systems will send you fabric samples if you request them, to give you a better idea. Ours is a silver, breathable fabric. The fasteners are removable, so you can slide them one by one into position along the awning rail first, then clip the cover to the fasteners.
