hi all.
after a porch awning andhave narrowed it down to these:-
outdoor revolution porchlite square £89
sunncamp scenic plus £89
towsure portico plus £89 (includes draught skirt)
outdoor revolution techlite 1 £112
any thoughts on these, or other suggestions would be most welcome.
the techlite 1 is at the top of my budget (£110ish)
thanks ,
simon.

We've just invested in our first ever porch awning and we opted for the Outdoor Revolution Techlite 1 at that same price you quoted, (thank heavens for Caravanstuff4u eh? ). It did arrive very quick, (we paid the extra £3 for express delivery even though we weren't in a particular rush to get it), and is VERY lightweight and seems to have all it's bits but we have yet to put it on the awning rail ready for use when we eventually manage to get our much needed break as we had to cancel our annual jollies this year owing to hubby's heart attack the day before we were due to set off!
Having read the instructions that come with the Techlite 1, it does say that it SHOULD be taken down in bad weather but having also read posts on my own thread about which porch awning to get, peeps on there claim that theirs has survived high winds with no damage so the makers are probably just covering themselves?
We also bought the awning stop thingies at just under £4 a pair so that, (we hope), it stops the awning zooming along the awning rail when we're on the road. We also bought our new length of nice green breatheable groundsheet from them too as theirs was by the far cheapest, especially for the 3m wide one and tbh now it's here, it's even NICER than our one we use in our full size awning! Has a smaller mesh too so will prevent quite soooo much grass growing through it....possibly......And we got our awning draft skirt from them and for what it alllll cost together it was still only £20 dearer than the Techlite 1 would have been on any other website alone!!!!! Bargin!
Can't wait to give it a go as it does LOOK to be a very large space at it's 300cm long! We were amazed when we measured the length out alongside our tin tent before we ordered it and were more than happy that it will easily go past our rear dinette/rear double bedroom window right up past our door and kitchen window with no loss of their use. We hadn't been sure about the height of our awning rail either but that came well within the range of the Techlite 1 so..........roll on our autumn break WHEN it can happen
One thing we have noticed though, (unless we've missed them), and that is that we can't find any guy line adjusters so we'll have to get some of those separately AND we won't be using the pegs that come with the awning as they're a bit on the flimsy side but we have loads of substantial ones with our full size Doreme anyhoo so not a prob.

Another vote for Outdoor revolution here, too,
We have a spacelite and a porchlite square, Both brilliant, I prefer both of them to our full awning.
I love the porchlite square, it goes up and down sooo quickly, 10 minutes max from getting it out the bag to the last peg going in.
Like Hippy chick, We use caravan stuff4u a lot too and have always been pleased with there service.Wwe have visited there store a few times when we have been in the malvern area and its well worth a trip, (only small but has everything)
