OK - how's this for the impossible.
We are looking for a caravan - 5 or 6 berth
Twin axle and NOT UK spec (so we want the door on the right as you stand in the van and face the tow hitch)

I've been trawling, trawling and better trawling so thought I'd ask for help on here. Ideally under £5000 but may find more if the van is perfect!

You could try this site - the German equivalent of Autotrader - lots of second-hand caravans (and it's mostly in English).

PS: click on the 'motorhomes' icon to get caravans...

Thanks, after much trawling I realised that a continental twin axle 6 berth was only going to come in the excessive width category so knew we had to compromise on one of our requirements.
Decided to Forego the continental spec (just means we'll have to walk round it when parked in the drive, or turn it round!!) and have just bought a swift conqueror 550. Going to get it on Sunday!
Many thanks for the help and advice - I'm sure I'll be needing lots more now.

6 hours drive, what a waste of a Sunday.
Back to the drawing board. Twin axle, 5 or 6 berth wanted.
