anyone got one of these from riversway leisure ?

seen one on the bay just wondering what the quality was like having not seen one in the flesh

Hi,

We have the Royal Windsor and are very happy with it. It feels light and spacious, it's very quick to put up and take down and whilst I'd be reluctant to use it in VERY bad weather it has certainly seen us through some heavy rain without any problems.  

Overall I would recommend it.

Hi,
The Royal Windsor is what it is, a lightweight, easy to put up awning.
We have been using one for about a year including through the winter.
It is generally waterproof, a little draughty because of a lack of tight fit from the side walls to the caravan, has little insulation value, but we like it.
It is used mainly to take shoes/boots off and dry the dog before going into the van. After all its a porch awning!
Its also handy to sit 'outside' on the rare occasion it rains.

Dont want to be offensive, but I cant agree with your little footnote. I can only assume you dont have a son in the forces and in Afghanistan. I have.

hi, thats a ll we require, somewhere to remove walking boots etc and maybe enough room for chairs and small table.

might have to order a nice Burgundy one then or shall i wait til the show and maybe get some kind of special offer ???

Copycat!
We have the burgundy! Seems a good sevicable colour.

We havent bothered with a full size awning since we got this Its only the 260 but its big enough for us.

Riversway are usually pretty competitive and nice people to deal with.

Just for the record, the Royal, Sunncamp and Pyramid 260/390 porch awnings all look much the same.
I would not be surprised if they were and just simply badged up with different names.

If that is the case then buy the cheapest!

Maybe someone on here can put me right.

We have one, brought from Homestead Caravans, £149.99. Great for week-ends but would not want to use it for a full holiday.
