Usually yes, they are a bit precious about this sort of thing and other dealerships refuse to help.  Ditto warranty work.

We have our caravan serviced annually by the dealer where we bought it.  This is our second van from the same dealership, and we have been satisfied with the aftersales service.

Like all customer/dealer relationships, no matter what the commodity there will always be those who are satisfied and those who feel let down. Just one of those facts of life.

The caravan trade is well behind the motor trade. A main dealer is obliged to service & do warranty work on any car of the make they supply regardless of whether it was supplied by them but apparently not so with a caravan main dealer.

No - had the first one done at dealership but now have it done locally at an approved workshop which is also authorised to carry out warranty work for Bailey.

Our dealer said he didn't mind who did it - handy, since he is 100 miles away !! 17

Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if he changed his tune if I need any warranty work doing...17
