I am looking to purchase a doormat with the housing it sits in for the van. The housing is plastic or rubber and is screwed into the floor and the door mat sits in it and normally has velcro on the back to secure it in place. As you can tell by my description of this so far I have absolutely no idea what its called and I have exhausted my searches on the net without success. Can anyone offer advice please?

You could email them to ask about the retainer but I would have thought the velcro would do it. Our van has a recess for the doormat to drop into but the damn thing takes some cleaning.

 I am so fed up with mats 'creeping' across the van when you walk on them.
