It is a bit strange but I think it came about when they abandoned the Earls Court Show in London. Of the two I prefer the February Show to the October one which I felt was dominated by motorhomes.

In Jan and Sept there is a motorhome show at Shepton Mallet. There was also a show in the spring at Westpoint in Exeter this year that was more aimed at caravanners.
The Feb one is in better access halls like 1 to 5 ,buses from car park go to main entrance ,the Oct one is like last years halls 6 to10 then something like 14 to 17 , we had a long walk back to entrance to get bus to car parks , not well thought out at all to me
Feb one seems a bit better for caravans, Oct one in the past has had lots of Motorhomes BUT I bought my present van at an Oct show and got it February - if I'd waited till February we would have had to wait untill the next model year production ( so I was told)
If you are thinking of buying a new van then sooner might be better. Prices generally rise and then, I think I am right in saying the VAT goes back up to 17.5% in Jan?
