IMHO, Them mini ovens are useless, Get yourself a Cadac, Much more versatile and cooking outside is heaps more fun.

We bought a little oven in LIdls just over a year ago, when we had a tent, we were holidaying in Cornwall and had the worst weather possible (& we were ill as well !)

I am very impressed with this oven it was made by Biffnet, it had two shelves, and one grill/baking pan, so you could cook on 3 levels at once provided things weren't to high.  It had a 60 min timer (I think), and you could choose various oven settings as well.  Cooked pizzas, instant meals, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings (homemade), fine.

We have just bought a caravan (that has virtually a full size oven in it) so we won't be using our little oven anymore, but I won't get rid of it, as it is well worth the £19.99 I spent on it - and I never know when I may need it again.

With regards to microwaves, this is something I have wanted (our caravan does not have one fitted), but I am taking a freestanding one with us over halloween as I think this will also get lots of use as well.

If I had to make the choice between the two, I do honestly think that I would opt for the little oven though as it has far more uses than the microwave.

PS: We have a Cadac as well :o) brilliant piece of equipment, but don't think I'll be taking it over the winter months though.  We cooked Roast Lamb/Chicken/Beef with Roast Potatoes during our holidays this year on it, plus yummy pancakes. :o)

We have a toaster!.....lol

The little ovens are great, we had one in our old van which didn't have an oven.

Our van has a fitted gas oven which we use on a weekend away but when away for any longer we take the Lidl mini oven, why should I use my gas when paying for EHU.
