The reason given pre-launch for the black nosecone was to "avoid yellowing". I note that there will now be a silver/grey option for those finding the black one "too radical"!

I like the van the layout is great but then I also like narrowboats which this reminds me of. Good washroom and bedroom if I could i would buy one. Why do you need a window at the front lots of european vans dont have them and people love them. I think the layout works well.

Most vans in this counrty are all the same and as I said yes I would buy one and also i would buy a european van with no front window I want a layout that works for me. I want a practical van not one full of francy things that I would never use.

Its odd but a site we go to in Cornwall has a lot of seasonal pitches. They all have their vans sideways on with the awnings facing out. Many are big Hobby vans. They have no view from the van at all.

Yet on most other sites we go on, the the vans are mostly facing out with a view through the front window.

For my husband and I we live on a large housing estate, to have a house with a view is something we would have if we won the lottery, so the most important thing we love about caravanning is the lovely views, on one trip it could be country views or sea views, that's what's so good about caravanning, but with the stealth, you don't have much view at all,  when you have an awning up you will have even less of a view.  The box settee, you can't stretch out and relax, the caravan that works for my husband and I is the one where it has the chest in the middle, because we both lie along each side of the settee legs stretched out, pillow behind our back,  cup of coffee or glass of something with a few peanuts etc watching the tv.  In the morning we can have our breakfast at the front looking out at a fantastic view.  So it's all to do with lifestyle, and the Stealth certainly doesn't suit ours.  As for saying that a lot of European caravans don't have windows, well that's why they don't sell in this country!

I'd love to know if anybody has actually bought one of these vans or even seen one on the road?

I saw one being towed along the M4 last week but it was being towed by a flatbed 3.5 tonne van so it may have been a haulage company delivering it to a dealer.
Looked impressive from a distance as the glossy finish was reflecting in the sun.

I reckon that if you stuck that front on a Pegasus the look would be exactly the same - different layout of course

It's change for the sake of it and clearly they didn't think it through. Current caravans are the way they are through evolution, they have adapted to our very diverse needs. Certainly there area few bits and bobs we would change but we wouldn't block out half the windows, have a bed that you can get out of but not around. All our caravans over the years have been chosen for "loungability" and this minger has none, zero, zilch. If I were offered a swap for my 10 year old Europa I would refuse without hesitation. I'm all for change for the better but this just being silly.

I think they forget, on the continent they tend to live outside and only use the van for sleeping. In our climate we have to be in the van a lot more, hence the need for a view.
