First of all I want to thank everyone for their comments and advice on my previous posts asking about classic caravans and general 'van owning advice.

Well, today I became the proud owner of a 1969 Fisher Holivan and I am SO excited.
She was an absoulte bargain and only needs minimal attention and a bit of TLC.

I have no doubt I will be asking even more questions now, as I have never owned a caravan before, and I'm sure some of the things I'll ask will seem extremely silly or obvious but please bare with me!!!

Still love my tents but now I have my little 'van I can extend the season in comfort!
Planning a revamp over the winter months - role on 2010!!

Planning to refurbish and customise her over the winter months - she is safely tucked up in my garage at the moment so I have somewhere warm and dry to work on her. Really looking forward to the winter now!!

Another member told me that the right van always comes along at the right time - they were right!!!

Just need to practice hitching up and towing now - I will put a warning on the forum when I venture out for the first time!! lol
