look at GOING CARAVANS no frills caravan and cheap to buy.

Why not buy an old one. Strip out the interior and build some beds in it.

Failing that, buy an old transit van and put a couple of matresses in the back, then call it a motor home.

Trouble is, most people want a kitchen etc so a van with just beds probably wouldn't sell.

I have considered it but DIY is not my metier. I would consider someone elses labour of love though - surely I'm not the only one who doesn't want a cramped toilet and kitchen ?

Why don't you just buy a lightweight Freedom Caravan without the toilet. Have a look at this one easy to tow and plenty of room.
