We use a duvet and fitted bottom sheet.  We always turn the cushions over putting the knee rolls at either end but it is still really lumpy.  In our old 'van it was really comfy but in our new one its really uncomfortable so we will have to get a mattress topper for it.

We use cotbed fitted sheets on the bunks and they are a lovely fit :)

I must invest in a topper

As well as being comfortable and cosy in your bed at night, camping/caravanning can raise a few circumstances that are not the normal part of a night's sleep at home and sometimes you have to get up in a hurry to investigate whatever.

I find it a lot easier to leap out of bed quickly from under a duvet/blanket than it is from the depths of a sleeping bag.

I have also found, from experience, that it is easier to extract my Bichon from under my warm blanket when I got up furra wee in the middle of the night than I did from the bottom of my sleeping bag when I used that!!!
