Well we've just returned from our last trip of the season. The van's been gutted as this was our last trip in this van. Our family have now outgrown our little 4 berth and we are now looking for a 6 berth...We're fed up of playing 'human chess' oh and with the dog as well!
So this time we've emptied everything out of her. Scrubbed, cleaned and hoovered ready to put back into storage. Now we can seriously look round all the localish dealers and see what's about.
So roll on Easter and [hopefully] our first trip of the season with our 'new' 'van.

We'd love to caravan over the winter.....but where we live in the NE of Scotland...there's only two caravan sites that are open all year.....and they are outwith the hour and a bit of travel that we normally travel on a Friday night [and as we have to wait till OH comes back from work]so we'd not arrive till nearly 9o'clock at night. By this time youngest is needing bed [well it's well past his bed time by then].....so for us this isn't a 'practical' way to spend a weekend.

id love to go away in the van over these months but however i dont get that many holidays and as i have to keep 2 weeks for the xmas shutdown i prefer to use my holidays in the better weather.and i cant go over the xmas shutdown as my mrs isnt allowed to take hols in this period as shes a carer(although im sure the residents families could do their bit and take them home for a break and let the staff get a well earned xmas break with their families).so april-october it is for us
