We've got a suncamp 260 as well. We love it. Have used it for 3 fortnght holidays so far with no problems at all. Its 8' square so has plenty of room for 2 chairs and small table. We got it because its easy for me to put up on my own. My wife is disabled.
To be honest, I think its better in winds than a normal awning. It bends and gives with the wind. Just make sure that all the pegging points are used, then none of them get strained. We will definitely will not be going back to a normal one. Even if it only last 2 or 3 seasons, its so cheap we can simply replace it. But somehow I think it will last much longer.
