Seem to remember there was a model called CALIFORNIAN, as distinct from the model California. We had a '99 California for several years, which was similar to the one in the pics above, and that was a brill van. Never should have sold it. Twin axle but not as long as the modern twins, and far more sensible. Ours was fitted with blue suede type upholstry, which i think was a bit unusual, often wondered what happened to that van.
Regret don't know the Californian, except seem to think they were very "up market".
