I can honestly say I didn't see a single van at the NEC on Saturday that came near it for quality.
It's in the eye of the beholder, I suppose. I thought the Eldiss vans at the NEC were particularly poor - creaking doors, nasty plastic-trimmed upholstery, bits hanging off. All that and a couple of thousand quid over the price of comparible Bailey.
The only vans we saw with "bits hanging off" was the new Bailey Pegasus, as was posted by a few people on the Pegasus thread on here, however I do understand there were literally thousands of people trampling in and out of the vans and was often 10 or more people in the vans at a time so its more than the average amount of wear and tear for a van, my issue with the Pegasus though was the quality of the external fittings, where every one had the sealant peeling off and the mouldings were all loose.
I also personally am not keen the Bailey woodwork, it's too light for my tastes and I dont like the fact they dont fit handles, it always gives the impression of a vast expanse of "Beech" and is too "Ikea" for me.
We use ours most weekends in the summer plus a few "week" breaks and do like to spend a lot of our time in the van so we like a more "cosy" feel which in our opinion is found in the Elddis vans.
I was impressed too with the Adria, I liked their twin bed model in which you could slide the beds together to make an island bed. Nice to see a manufacturer trying something new.
