Hello i have just finished removing all the damp wood from my old silverline nova 1989 which had suffered water damage over the years .
I have replaced the main seal around the end window , replaced the external rail screws and resealed it with Sikaflex.
Built a new frame for the window inside and insulated the corners with polystyrene & expanding foam this has made it water tight ,
I am now wanting to seal all the caravan external rails and awning rails with sikaflex is this the best thing to use ? as the end finish doeskin look too clean , i do not have a steady hand !
also what is the best thing to use to repair a few small tears in the side aluminum panal?
any advice would be great
Cheers
Jay
