I need to change the code number on the alarm fitted to the van and also to set a longer delay time but I don't have the instruction booklet for the system.
Does anyone out there have an alarm of this type and could email me the instructions? I would be grateful.
I have sent an email to the site Michael. I'm not sure I have this right.
What is your opinion of the alarm system? Looks good so far. We have a charger for the battery and have been told a fully charged battery lasts about 7 months, so this should be useful when it's in storage. The alarm is deafening when it goes off...so we discovered the other day! (We also set off the storage alarm system so with both of them going, just couldn't hear myself think). Reassuringly the farmer where we store it was on the scene quickly and all the security lights were blinding.
i find the alarm system first class,i fitted it myself and have had no problems with it.there is way of checking the battery fitted inside, as you will see from the number of bleaps given it tells you how long the battery charge will last.i have not so far had to use the plug in charger and it has been fitted a number of years.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Does the battery charge automatically when the van is on hook up?
I'll get OH to check the battery to see if we have the bleep thing you mention...this would be useful. Even if we have to charge it with the charger, this is not a problem.
At the moment it doesn't seem to be set up with any kind of delay to allow you time to open the door and turn it off!! This is primarily why I need the operating instructions, and also to change the security code.
