On another thread I have just read about rain deflectors fitted to he awning channel to stop streaking. Can anyone tell me where they can be obtained from and if the are good??

 I bought this product from Towsure, 12 metre strip whilst in Southampton a couple of weeks ago after reading a previous thread.. Cut it in half and ran it into the awning channel of my caravan last week.

We have had a week of heavy rain most days this week and the sides of the van are still clean without one single streak down them, where previously I was having to keep cleaning them off.

In my opinon worth every penny, just wish I had known about it earlier.  

I have just read the threads about the awning protector, I hadn;t heard of them before and thanks to this wonderful forum you learn new things all the time.

I shall be purchasing some as it sounds a good idea so thank you everyone

Its self explanatory

As has been said the piping is available at caravan dealers and does cut down the black streaks well

Have a look at THE STREAKER, designed specifically with this in mind and comes in bags of two, one for either side of the van. An excellent peice of kit and it works superbly.
