Hi, I have got a caravan to renavate I have been told it is a 1968 Sprite Alpine, but looking at photos of the Alpines they dont have a toilet window at the front (towbar end). The reason for finding out as to the model is to restore it to the oringal colours.Can email a photo if need be.

i remember a sprite alpine with front toilet , nearside if i remember rightly.sure it was abit newer than 68 , early 70s maybe ?

or maybe its a sprite 400 ?

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I have seen a picture of a 1973 Sprite 400 (not a very good one) and it looks the same but still not sure. The van was on a tv program "Caravan a Love affair" a yellow one pulled by a L reg car.

The colours were light green & white. If you google image it you will find a pic of a '76 Alpine.

The Alpine S had the loo in the front nearside corner.  The Alpine C had a loo in the centre on the offside.

 My first van was a Sprite Alpine 4 berth with the toilet in front nearside (porta potty)and it had a fold up sink, it was a light green colour with a white stripe the green was like a washed out olive colour, 1968 I think.

It's an Alpine S, pre 1970.

Probably a 68 or 69.
