Hi look at a Sterckman-- my sister had a 4 berth one of these, pretty basic, nice interior and very light. The 4 berth was something like 800kg. You may have to go to Carvalier (spelt sonething like this) as I think they bought out Sterckman. good luck gary
Freedom caravans - some are as light as 650 kg and can be towed with a small car. 2 berths have a small toilet/wash basin room. They are made of fibre glass, so don't rot.

Lunars tend to be lighter than the average. So a small 2 berth Lunar might fit the bill subject to checking all the weight things for car and van.
the aviva is 980kg gross, the meterorite weight something stupid like 700kg but finding a good dry one might be awkward. go for a freedom they are nice wee vans
if you want something bigger it will be older so usual damp probs applies, the following were sub 800kg, sprite alpine up to 1995, swift rapide, silverline nova, avondale perle (cant remember the model) there was a couple of others
How about a little'n like this. Fleurette Tamaris 31T, the older version of the Trigano Silver. Ours is a 2001, weighs in at 750k laden & see what we tow with! This Micra in the pic is a 1.2 petrol, have since changed to a 1.5 diesel, just changed to a newer model. Both tow well.
