We picked up our keys from our private sale today. We were itching to get in and play with it! It's on storage quite a few miles away from us and we intend on bringing it home next weekend so we can have a good play around, clean, etc..  It a Lunar Zenith 5 2006. Lovely van with everything we need to get started. Mover, wastemaster, aquaroll, tele, sat dish and aerial, plates, cups, pots pans, microwave, gas bottle, step, spare wheel, hook up lead, were all sorted!

One thing is driving me mental though is, how do you make up the beds! I'll obviously crack that next weekend but without the hands on right now I'm thinking how do I make up the double at the front, what goes in the middle? Does something pull out? do you use the table, the chest of drawers stays put right? I've googled and youtubed it to death. The manual tells you about the pull out bunk but nothing about the other beds. Weird! Are you supposed to work this out for yourself!!? LOL!

Towards the bottom of the drawers (at the same height as the seats) there should be a pull out slatted section, which slides between the two seats and you can then make up the double bed.  If not!!  help!!

Not familiar with this model but on my Compass there is a bit underneath the "chest of drawers" under the front window. If you pull this but it slides along runners by the seat cushions pulling behind it a slatted bed support.

I think my previous Avondale was the same. I think its quite common

Ahhh, Yes, from memory there are three drawers, underneath drawer two there is a sticky out bit, like a half baked shelf. That's what that will be then! Thanks Nanashirley! Ta muchly.

We spent the first evening with our van on the driveway having a good look around, watched the t.v., brewed up, opened a bottle of wine and entertained a few of the neighbours.

Brilliant!

Hope you enjoy it!

You may find it gives a flatter bed if you turn the cushions upside down when making the bed. If they are shaped it can be a bit lumpy!

I've not cleared the "driveway" with the neighbours yet though! It's on storage right now albeit about 20-25 miles away.  It's not as secure as we'd like, and on top of that we'd like to have it home with us. Therefore we'd like to be courteous with our neighbours and check it's okay with them.  Only temporary as were siting it come April.  We'll then get storage closer to home.

I would also recommend investing in a foam memory mattress topper for a really comfortable night's sleep.
