hi all i am going to take a look at a coachman 520/4

just after a bit of advice on is there any known problems to look for apart from damp ( meter is in my hand !! )

it was on ebay and i have been offered a second chance i have checked and the winning bidder had also won another van seller said winner has not turned up

my max bid was £1717 but over email i have got them down to £1500

it is a 94yr van and comes with awning so price seems very good

they are only seeling due to having a baby last week so all seems genuine

so again if you know of any areas prone on this model advise much helpfull

We had a 96 Genius 460/4 SE, a brilliant van, no problems at all, we sold it when our teenagers no longer wanted to come caravaning with us. For us it was always the Avondales that bought the problems regarding damp and delamination.

Which model are you looking at? the base models of that era where the Mirage range, followed by the Genius, then the top of the range VIPs

Given the chance and the right car to tow one of the new Coachman caravans i would not hesitate to buy again from them, it was only weight restrictions that made us choose our current Lunar

hi all just bought the coachman ( left a deposit ) picking up tomorrow

i had been told it was a 94 model yr but think t may be a 91? as number on windows is 91CMOH4608

can anyone comfirm as i thought after 92 it was about 16 numbers

i have managed to get it for £850 ! that is with awning and loads of items it does have a bit of damp put at that price think it is a bargain?

any info on chassis number very helpfull

just found out off coachman that van is a 91model  as i was told it was a 94 how much if any would you  asked to be knocked off price ? on average how much do caravans deprecite each yr (only paying £850 for it )
