Yep we put our cover on yesterday, freshly arrived from specialised accessories, luckily we took a big step ladder with us. Monster job it was too, needed 4 pairs of hands not 2 that's for sure!!! the spike came off easily.

We have one of the largest current vans on the UK market, I am turned 70 and the wife is pushing 60, yet can easily put our Specialised Accessories cover on between us. Working from back to front we stand either side and using a sweeping brush each we lift the front of the cover onto the roof of the van then slowly walk forward.
One or two people mention the aeral, but no one seems to mention the chimney (if fitted) I usually put a pom pom hat on that to save the cover!
