John: The 19000 BTU propane furnace and the electric mattress pads keep us toasty warm! In really cold weather, we also have the option of "turtling" by folding the beds up and having a hard shell all around.
Art: Good observation about the positioning of the axles! The North American style is probably more stable for towing due to the greater distance from the hitch to the axle. As you mentioned, it kind of forces us to tow with heavier vehicles due to the higher tongue weights. We rarely see anyone towing with a car, other than those folks towing smaller tent trailers. Fuel supply and prices will likely force North American manufacturers to do it your way in the future.
