I really must get my eyes tested - I thought it said you'd been hit by the farmer's border collie! I was just about to ask you what happened!

dont forget those collies are big dogs, i know my mate's when she wags her tail it is like getting whipped

anyway best trip, probably to moffat C&cc site, good weather, mum got most of her xmas shopping done and we had great company

 First 2 weeks in July 1 week in Garlieston (Dumfries & Galloway) & 2nd week in Newcastleton (Scottish Borders) first time in Scotland for us with the caravan, usually go to Ireland, but it was to expensive this time so we thought we would try Scotland realy enjoyed it.

Our best trip this year was in October.  It was the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend and we were camping with friends (about a dozen families) at a place in Ontario called Awenda Provincial Park.  The park is set in a large deciduous forest and the fall colours were absolutely beautiful.  We had a potluck dinner that turned out to be quite the feast -- two turkeys, roast beef, pork tenderloin, fresh veggies, camp-baked desserts, etc.  We sat around a large campfire eating too much food and drinking too much wine.  To help burn off the calories, we went for lots of hikes and bike rides.  Just thinking about it makes me want to count the days 'til the next big outing.  Here's a picture of our rig at Awenda taken on the same weekend a year earlier: http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2893967640045713555ZmqOdx

Think ours was our first trip to Scotland, stayed at North Ledaig CC site and it was fab. Here's to next year's trips, can't wait til Easter!
