We are living in our van at present until next week when we move back home, there could be problems getting the van back in storage due to weather, if we were to leave the van empty on the campsite until we can get back in storage  are we covered on our insurance.

Does the campsite itself have provision for storing caravans? If so, that should satisfy the insurers, but I would still ask them.

If it is something like a CL, with minimal/no security, then I would doubt that they would accept liability.
