If youve forgotten to drain the carver heater you could now be in trouble with frost/ice damage . even so if you can open the drain its located in the outside cowling of the heater leave it open it may help reduce pressure of ice melt . make sure you have cold water passing through hot tap before lighting the heater . this is the time of the year a lot of carver 2 heaters develop NRV problems (non return valve ) a small amount of frozen water pushes the valve into the pipe causing blocking.if you cannot get and hot water taps to flow after filling up,this is the most likely cause.even draining off fully will prevent all ALL problems as the small bit of water left can not be seen.
