Just had our first week away with our Kampa Rally 260 & really happy with it. The 'optional' rear poles are essential as without them it flaps around and doesn't make a proper seal at all.

In a related query...I bought the storm straps which didn't come with any instructions and I couldn't work out how to attach them...any suggestions? Do I need to buy another 'extra' to go with my 'extra'...if so this awning is getting very expensive!

If yours is a 2010 model, there should be buckles with the awning, and you attach the storm straps to them.

We have got a 2009 one, we brought the storm straps and our dealer gave us the buckles, which he took off the 2010 Kampa.

2009 and earlier models do not seem to have the female buckle which is standard on 2010 model.

Perhaps a call to Kampa may get you a 'freebie'.

Im not sure that you would be able to remove the buckles and refit them to a 2010 Kampa Rally, as on ours they are attached to the part where the small metal bars are welded in to the part where the roof poles join the downrights. I totally agree though, they are brilliant quality awnings and we are really pleased with ours. We would advise ordering the storm straps and the rear down poles at the same time as the awning though, as they can be difficult to source as separate items later on.
